Magical Product Swap!

I joined up with Mrs. Stanford's The Magical Product Swap.

I had the wonderful opportunity to share a product with Ashley from Me and Marie
Me and Marie Learning

Be sure to check out her blog. She has all kinds of great information and has a whole section of freebies and seasonal and holiday items. Check out her other links as well:
Ashley's  TPT Store

Ashley gave me her Very Hungry Caterpillar Story Unit. This packet is great to use with a pre-k or kindergarten class. It includes a wide variety of activities including vocabulary/word wall cards, fine motor, patterns, a craft activity, and lesson plans. When telling (or retelling) the story, there is a set of props also included. The students really enjoyed using these when they were retelling the story in the reading center.

It was nice to have a set of vocabulary cards with pictures to go along with the book and then the students had cards to look at to practice writing different words and they referenced the cards when drawing pictures about the book.

I placed a few of the activities into file folders for my students to use.

This game focuses on matching numbers 1-12.

This game, you match the missing half of the butterfly.

My students and I really enjoyed this packet. It's great because it has a nice variety of activities to do to go along with the book.  The girls really enjoyed matching up the butterflies.

Ashley also has units for other stories on her TPT store including If You Give A Mouse A Cookie and Brown Bear Brown Bear What Do You See

Also, check out Ashley's Song A Month freebie on her TPT store. It includes a song for each month that goes along with the tune "I'm a little tea pot." My students really like the song for June and like to sing it on the way outside.

Don't forget to check out all of the other great products that are being featured during the magical product swap and be sure to update your wish lists :)
