It is very easy to set up. Literally all you have to do is take it out of the box, find a place to put it, plug it in and you are ready to go. It heats up pretty quickly (in about 5 minutes) and then you can start!
We are laminating! |
So after doing a few products that I have gotten recently, I decided to test out laminating objects that I cut out with my Silhouette Cameo. My next theme unit in my classroom focuses on cowboys so I have been cutting out horses and cowboy hats for decorations and different art projects.
I decided to check around on the prices of the laminating sheet packs. Walmart has a pack of 50 sheets and I think it was around $13. Then when I went to Sam's Club this week they have a box of laminating sheets that has 200 sheets for $20. I have tested these sheets out and they work great. The lamination holds up, I laminated a few sheets to use with dry erase markers and after 18 students using them they are still in great condition. They are the only ones that I will buy now (unless I find a better deal on Amazon or at Costco :)).
Overall I love it! If you have been debating on whether to buy one or get annoyed with waiting to have stuff laminated or at the last minute need something laminated for school, you need to get this!
Great purchase! If you have time stop by my blog and join my "Classroom Tours Linky Party"! I would love to see your classroom!!
