Technology Tip

I'm linking up today with Blog Hopping!

Have you checked out http://www.yournextread.com/us/? This is a fabulous website that helps you find other books that are similar to the book that you type in. You can also save your list for future reference and you can adjust the list that they recommend.

Since one of my first themes during the school is year fall/apples/pumpkins I decided to look for apple themed books to see what it recommended and if I could find a few new books for this fall.

If a book appears that you really like on the 'web' you can click on it and it will place it in the middle and show more related books.

I decided to also check out United States social studies books (I would like to have a few more in my classroom).

This next feature is pretty neat. You can select different categories of books and it pulls up a web (see picture below). Then you can select a book and it shows others that might interest you. I had so much fun playing with this.

I personally love this site. Its great to be able to search for books, read reviews of the books and find new ones that I have never seen before and ones that I would not have thought about using with a certain theme.
Have you been to this site before? What did you think?

    Thank you so much.
Not only will it help me find books on a theme it will also help me use the books I already have and haven't thought of using.
